Model Watch: JR Sterling and Chanelle Renee’

April 2011

Meet models JR Sterling and Chanelle Renee’! They are our newest finds for ‘Model Watch’. JR is a Dallas, TX native that now resides in Los Angeles and Chanelle Renee’ is a San Diego native who now resides south of Jackson, Ms. The  jawline and eyes on JR caught our eyes while Chanelle (standing at only 5.6.5″) packs a punch with those amazing legs.

Congrats to both models. We’re confident you will see more of them and enjoy reading about what matters to them. Enjoy!

JR STERLING

Where are you from? I’m originally from Dallas, TX but now live in the City of Angels.

What is your dream job(s)? As a model, actor and singer – I have many goals in the entertainment industry and am driven to achieve them. In the fashion world, I would love to walk the runway for designers like Calvin Klein, Jeremy Scott, D&G, Marc Jacobs, Dsquared and Gucci to name a few. I would also love to do campaigns for brands such as Abercrombie, American Eagle, United Colors of Benetton, H&M and the Gap. As an actor, I would love to be on any show on the CW. I’m very inspired by media moguls such as Tyra Banks, Ryan Seacrest and Oprah and hope to have a career trajectory similar to theirs.

Are you signed? Yes, I am a newly signed with Next Model Management in LA (as of 2/24/11) and am currently in development for international exposure.

Workout regimen? I’ve been working out on a regular basis for about a year now and I’m in the best shape of my life. In high school, I made the choice to sacrifice athletics for the debate team. I don’t regret that decision because I received a full scholarship to college because of debate but I forgot how good it feels to be active. I have a cousin who’s a personal trainer who trains at a gym right by my home in Dallas and another who is an aspiring personal trainer/bodybuilder…so that’s very motivating.  I do have a workout plan that I follow for each of the major muscle groups. Usually, I start each workout with a 30-minute warm up on the elliptical at a high intensity and then I move on to weight training. Some days I will do just weights, other days I will do cardio only and other days I will do a mix of both.  It just depends on how I’m feeling on that particular day. I try to workout at least 3 times a week.
