Public School showcased a lineup of diverse, multiethnic mix of models for their Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne are always on trend. Their clean line aesthetic warrants wearable clothing for most men.
The police lineup seemed to point at what’s happening in America with Black men. The diversity of models shows that every one of us is affected. Their presentation showcased some of the fashions model favorites: Adonis Bosso, Luka Sabbat and street-style menswear icon, Nick Wooster, to name a few.
In 2010, Public School was selected as one of the brands to participate in the inaugural class of the CFDA {Fashion Incubator} program. The brand won the 2013 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear, the 2014 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award and, most recently, the designers took home the International Woolmark Prize.
This duo continues to reach for the stars and going in the right direction. We can’t wait to see what’s next. Bravo Public School!
