Anna Wintour’s global initiative known as Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) returns for a third year with a host of venues, designers, and retailers participating in the annual industry holiday. Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy during the recession.
On September 6, 2012 one of the essential Fashion’s Night Out events held in Los Angeles was presented by The Gallery LA at the luxurious Beverly Hills Porsche.
Wilshire Boulevard was all-aglow with private cars and fashionable guests lining up to view two of L.A.’s most revered local designers including Anthony Franco and Dina Bar-El. Both brands presented evening collections with formal silhouettes that included flowing fishtail gowns for women and tailored suits constructed with rich velvet and jacquard. Event sponsors included Wella Professionals, cosmetic sponsor Napoleon Perdis, and Glam Glow.
