Django Unchained is a definite must-see film! Controversial and entertaining to some. Will draw up conversation among you and your friends.

Django Unchained stars Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx as a freed slave and Christoph Waltz (who won Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film) as a bounty hunter. The film takes place in the south, but has an old-western vibe. At the beginning of the film, Dr. King Schultz (Waltz) frees Django (Foxx) from a group of chained slaves. As a freed slave, Django follows Schultz across the United States as bounty hunters killing felons for money.

Django’s main goal is to find his wife Broomhilda, played by Kerry Washington, and free her from her slave owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is keeping her at his Candyland Plantation. The movie is action-packed with a lot of violence, and touches on the sensitive subject of slavery.
