Where were you born? Hagerstown, MD

Ethnicity: Caucasian (White)

Favorite things: My favorite things to do would include working out, playing the guitar or video games, playing sports such as football, baseball, and basketball. I love going to the beach and traveling as well.

What music are you listening to at the moment? Currently, as I’m writing this, I’m listening to some R&B and Rap, but my taste in music is vast. I listen to a little bit of everything: Country, Pop, Rock, R&B, Rap, Soul, etc. I like to mix it up a lot.

Favorite movie, tv show: Tough question. Favorite movie of all time is difficult to narrow down, but my favorite series of films would probably have to be Star Wars. I grew up on those, always have been favorites of mine. My favorite TV shows would have to go to either “Friends” or “Psych,” both of which no longer are on TV sadly. I tend to watch them both on Netflix or Hulu now instead.

Favorite designer, fragrance or grooming/beauty product: Favorite designer would have to be Calvin Klein. I always have been a big CK fan. Also a big fan of Tom Ford. My favorite grooming/beauty product, or more so line of products, would be either Mario Badescu or Peter Thomas Roth. I love both of their lines of products.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling? I’d probably be doing what I’m doing now outside of modeling, which is personal training/online training. Fitness has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy doing it, as well as helping people achieve goals. It’s a satisfying achievement.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway? I don’t know if it’s considered “uncool,” but ever since I was young, I’ve always loved magic. I became obsessed with it when I was young and bought/learned a lot of different tricks. I still enjoy doing it today when I have time.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country? I typically don’t have too many positive things to say about my hometown, LOL, but one thing I do like about it is how close-knitted it is, it seems like everyone knows everybody. Everywhere you go within the whole area, and you’re able to find at least one person you know, which can be nice when you need someone to talk to or want to have a night out with a friend you haven’t seen in a while.

Place you would love to visit: Europe, without a doubt, would be the number one place I would love to visit. Specifically somewhere like England or even France. I would love to soak in some of the culture and experience something new.

Which brand would you like to model? I would love to model for brands like Nike or Under Armour. I’ve always been a huge fan of both of them. I’d also love to model for Calvin Klein or someone like Louis Vuitton.

Favorite modeling experience so far? I’d have to say just learning more about modeling throughout the years and meeting new people. I’m still early in my modeling career, having not done a lot of shoots, but I do have multiple shoots lined up between now and the end of the year, so I’m excited for that. Even then, I’ve met and talked to a lot of people because of it, whether it be other models that are more seasoned in the business than I am, companies that I’ve been interested in trying to represent for, or even random people that say they know who I am or that they’re a fan of mine. It’s all surreal at times.

Favorite season? As much as I love summer and going to the beach, I’d have to say my favorite season is Autumn. Not too hot but not too cold, and the fashion and wardrobe choices during fall are my favorite to wear. Everything looks nice, and the changing of the leaves always look beautiful.

Favorite junk food? All of it! But for real, that is another tough one. I love desserts, but anything involving chocolate and peanut butter is my weakness. I absolutely love cheesecake as well, that might have to be my favorite.

Workout regimen? I workout five to six days a week, depending on how my body is feeling. My typical split is a 3-day split, repeated back to back, hence the six days. It usually starts with Monday being chest and back, Tuesday being shoulders and arms, and Wednesday being legs, then repeating the same three days for Thursday thru Saturday.

What ingredients do you put in your workout shakes? I tend to keep it relatively simple with my workout shakes. All I use is whey protein and creatine monohydrate, mixed in with either water or milk.

Where do you feel the most stuck in your modeling career? I feel like I’m most stuck in my modeling career with exposure. I manage myself at the moment, so it’s hard trying to find work in that situation, though it is possible. That’s why I’m excited about my photoshoots coming up. I will try to shoot with more people in the meantime, both because I am a fan of the photographers’ work, and it provides me with more material and exposure, which helps to get my name out there to companies/agencies that I would love to work with. The way I see it is that everyone knows who the companies are that everyone wants to work with.

As an upcoming model, you have to make yourself known to them, sitting back and doing nothing will not get you any closer to where you want to be. You have to go out and pursue shoots, agencies, companies, etc., get all the exposure and publicity you can to make yourself stand out from the crowd so that these companies see you amongst the thousands of other people that are trying to do the same thing you are.

Currently, you’re obsessed with or about? I’m currently obsessed with my career, to be honest. Something has lit a fire inside me, and I feel like God is telling me that I’m in the right place. I’m hungry for success, so I’ve been obsessed with working hard and getting to where I want to be.

3 Words that best describe you as a person? Humble. Hardworking. Steadfast.

Humble, because I’ve never been one to brag about myself or boast about anything, even if I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I’m one to give other people credit before myself. Hardworking, kind of a self-explanatory term, but I always try to work hard, no matter what task is given to me. Steadfast would apply both in my work ethic and my beliefs. I have often faced criticism for choices, both socially and career-wise, but I don’t let other people’s opinions affect me too much. Regardless of what they say, I stick to my guns and don’t let down. In my beliefs, it goes the same way I have always been a Christian and faced ridicule for it on occasion, but no matter what, I’ve always stuck to my beliefs and will continue that way.

Favorite entertainer or public personality? So many possible choices for this one, but I would have to say, Ryan Reynolds. He’s a hilarious actor and an overall good person in my opinion.

Your favorite quote? I do have quite a few favorite quotes, but the most relatable as of recent would be “Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard, and there is nothing you cannot accomplish.” – Brad Henry

Any shoutouts? Firstly, I would have to be a big thank you to God, without Him I wouldn’t be able to do any of this. I would like to thank photographer Ryan (NAYR photography is his official page name), who gave me my first shot at modeling. Him allowing me to shoot with him gave me the motivation to get into modeling in the first place. I would also like to thank friends & family that have actually believed in me and supported me on this journey so far, a lot of people aren’t loyal supporters, even family, so to find that is rare. Lastly, thank you to OBVIOUS Magazine for giving me this opportunity, of course, it means the world.
