Chris Henry stands 5’11 with killer cheekbones hopes to one day model for ZARA or TOPMAN. This LA-native talks his first modeling experience and love for Solange’s music.

Where were you born? I was born in Los Angeles, California. Specifically raised in Inglewood.

Favorite things: My favorite things are FOOD, nature, and ART.

What music are you listening to at the moment? At the moment, I am listening to SYD, KELELA, CHILDISH GAMBINO, SOLO, Jay-Z, J-Cole, etc.

Favorite movie, tv show: Almost everything with Samuel L. Jackson in it will be my favorite, next in line will be all of the Jurassic Park movies. My favorite tv show of all time is MARTIN!

Favorite designer, fragrance or grooming product: My favorite brands align with designers such as Gordon Richardson, Amancio Ortega, Julian Woodhouse, Cross Colours, Armando Cabral, and Craig Green.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling? This is the golden question. Personally, I feel that modeling is an ongoing thing, even when conducting business; you are the face, the model. So for me, I will always be a model, through Health & Fitness.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway? Even though sometimes this is uncool when not done correctly, though, I love twerking. Yes, I confess.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country? It’s always sunny in Southern California, one of the best things about living in California.

Place you would love to visit: I would love to visit Ireland. This is on my roster for sure.

Which brand would you love to model for? I would love to model for TOPMAN or ZARA.

Favorite modeling experience so far? My favorite modeling experience is when I was able to meet the designers (black-owned) of Cross Colours. I was so nervous because it was my first GO-SEE/ Casting and even though I believe I scared them by talking too much, it was worthwhile meeting them and being in their presence of success.

Where do you feel the most stuck in your modeling career? I feel most stuck in me crossing over into being a paid model. I am very aware of my worth, and I feel I have great attributes. I feel like I am misunderstood when it comes to me exuding confidence (explained above during my first model go-see).

Currently, you’re obsessed with/about? I am currently obsessed with Solange Knowles. Just her creativity and her exemplifying free spirit and art are just so Godly to me. Me observing her feed instills a lot of mental empowerment for me. I am obsessed and seek for more even through her artistry.

Favorite entertainer or public personality? Chris Brown is my favorite entertainer along with Beyonce.
