Talk about multi-level marketing. Candy company, Cadbury, has rolled out two nail colors to give consumers a taste of their soon-to-be-released chocolate bar, Dairy Milk Bliss. The coinciding nail colors, Vanilla Bliss and Cocoa Bliss are only available in the UK, since Cadbury worked with UK based-company Nails Inc. for the polish line. But do the nail colors look like a shade you’d crave?

Future face for Victoria’s Secret anyone? Purely speculation, but with the direction and look they’ve taken as of late, I can totally see a glimmer for the young model. If you aren’t familiar with Stubbs, she’s walked a number of shows, here and abroad, and was discovered at 11. Now 18, the Caribbean native should surely be on your radar. Here’s a video interview VOGUE Black did with the model.

Have you been watching this season of America’s Next Top Model? The newest addition to the judges’ panel, André Leon Talley, is utilizing all of his industry connections to give the show some actual fashion credibility. In last week’s episode, esteemed VOGUE photographer, Patrick Demarchelier, stopped by to photograph the contestants. While Jane and Ann looked “clean, athletic, and smiley,” the rest of the girls appeared “dirty, tired, and paunchy.” Did Mr. Demarchelier inspire you tune in or is ANTM soooo 2004? Major bonus points if you know which epic fashion movie I got the quotes from.

I decided to go to my favorite video site, Vimeo.com, and came across this video. The cartoon thumbnail for the video drew me in. At first glance, I assumed that the video was about making a cake. Boy was I wrong. This video is about sacrifice and struggle. If you believe something is meant for you, keep going and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m so glad that I watched this video and hope it moves you as it did for me. Enjoy!

It’s hard to believe an American classic color like khaki (also known as chino) has a military heritage, but its true. Chino cotton, heavy and durable first gained popularity in the early 1900s when U.S. soldiers wore it home from the Spanish-American war. Today, the chino and khaki colors are a staple in many wardrobes. Whether worn as businessor outdoor casual, the original military chino has served us well for over 60 years!
Ricardo Tisci’s Fall 2010 Givenchy ad campaign served up a significant amount of water cooler discussion among the fashion industry. And it wasn’t because the clothes were particularly racy. Rather, it was Tisci’s model casting that was cause for discussion. Alongside Mariacarla Boscono, Malgoisa Bela, and Joan Smalls stood Lea T, the designer’s transgendered former assistant.
Contrary to those who believed the casting of a transgendered model was a gimmick, Lea T. has become a veritable fixture in the fashion world, walking in Givenchy’s haute couture show and posing in last month’s Italian Vanity Fair.

I really admire Jil Sander’s aesthetic. Very clean and beautiful as always. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, the latest advertising campaign from Jil Sander features Miranda Kerr, Kasia Struss, and Aiden Andrews.
