Designer Jen Prudhome Premieres Her Spring/Summer 2012 Collection at First Solo
Los Angeles Fashion Week Presentation
October 7, 2011 – Los Angeles, CA – Fashion designer Jen Prudhome will premiere Spring/Summer 2012 collection; INDIGO, from her line Reneé Prudhomme (www.reneeprudhomme.com) on October 23, 2011.
During this year’s LA Fashion Week, Prudhome will hold a live art and fashion presentation at 5pm in a private beachfront location in Venice, CA. Reneé Prudhomme represents eclectic fashions, structured to turn heads and make bold statements. Like their creator, the designs of Jen Prudhome are forever changing but stay true to the vision of embracing individuality and enforcing fearless fashion for women.
INDIGO is inspired by Prudhome’s first collection in 2005 which combined West African prints with a California vintage aesthetic. INDIGO pays homage to the bold colorful use of color and pattern commonly seen in African and Native American culture; along with black contrasting looks exhibiting strength through angles and texture.
Along with Prudhome’s INDIGO Collection showcase, art from Arnold Randall’s fashion inspired series will be on display. Combining fashion and art, the event is setting the tone for the type of collaboration of artistry that Prudhome and Randall want to see in the industry.
Jen Prudhome hails from Southern California. She is the creative force behind the emerging line of women’s apparel. Since her 2005 debut as a designer, Prudhome has participated in an eclectic mix of fashion events including DC’s International Fashion Week. Her colorful garments have been featured on notable television shows as well as fashion publications.
Arnold Randall also a Southern California native began developing as an artist by sketching, and later moved to acrylic, oil and mixed media; his art is now a creative combination of all the above. Arnold’s inspiration comes from life, in all shapes, forms, and experiences.
This presentation is aimed at all affluent fashion enthusiasts, artists, celebrity stylists, beauty professionals, style bloggers and beloved supporters.
