Ronald West: Humility in Check

Ronald West doesn’t take this industry lightly and plans to make a big splash. You don’t know much about this man, but you will in the fall of 2011.

Ronald West is a new face in the commercial and modeling realm. He has purposely stayed under the radar (slightly). “I’m new to the business and what I’ve learned from it in the last 4 months is being prepared is key to being successful in this business”, says West. “If someone tells me ‘NO’ it will never be because I didn’t have a great portfolio or was not prepared.”

There are few models that exude humility nowadays. Ronald West is not one of those models. If you have the opportunity to sit down and have a conversation with him, you will be inspired. This is the quote he lives by (it’s his own quote): “Somebody’s got to be the winner. Why not me, Ronald West?” Meaning: Someone has to be the person to lead and make a difference. Everything is a competition. The world is your competitive playground. We should all strive to be the best. I have the qualities to lead. This is something I say to myself everyday.
