VFiles Fall RTW 2015 featured designers kept a youthful approach to their fall collections. Designers Julie Seemann, Andrea Jiapei Li, Ximon Lee, and Di$count Univer$e each presented their interpretation of what inspires them.
I’m a huge supporter of up-and-coming talent and freedom of expression. The overall fill of the show read more editorial and maybe costume instead of having clothing that everyday people can wear. This is fine for trendsetters who dare to be different and expressive through personal style. A lot of the pieces can be worn separates and not maybe as full looks. The designers were under the mentorship of Italo Zucchelli who’s design director for Calvin Klein menswear.
This feature for VFiles Fall RTW 2015 is broken up into four parts to focus on each designer’s collection individually.
