Why do you want to be a model:
I had an interest in becoming a model and a fashion designer since my pre-teens. As I got older I began to research and speak with certain individuals to better understand the industry. In doing this I learned that the fashion industry is high-risk and in order to be successful in this industry one must establish themselves with a variety of connections (photographers, stylist, designers, make-up artist, models). In establishing these relationships, I was able to leverage the relationships to learn and help me achieve my aspirations to be a model and designer. With modeling, I have the opportunity to enhance and express my artistic capabilities. It is also one of the many spheres in the fashion industry that could assist me in establishing myself as an iconic figure.
Favorite things:
My favorite things to do is exercise, dance, eat, shop, learn, play basketball and model.
Favorite music or band:
My favorite music is Rhythm & Blues.
Favorite movie, TV show:
My favorite TV show currently is Marco Polo. The storyline of the show is filled with twist, action and a look into the history of the years in which the Mongol Empire was in control.
Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
My favorite designer is Manuel Vanni because every suit he has designed tells its own unique story through the cut, fabric, color and array of patterns used.
What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I currently am developing my skills as a Wardrobe Stylist, working for a hat shop part-time and working for a start-up company part-time doing marketing. I will continue to do these things on the side because they are contributing to my growth and development.
Favorite modeling experience so far?
My journey as a model has just begun. My most memorable experience thus far was my second shoot to build my portfolio. I felt confident and had been practicing diligently to perfect my look. All of the practice paid off when I got in front of the camera.
What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
The best thing about my hometown is how lively the city can be at a moments notice. It is a place where you can travel to different parts of the city and experience different foods, people, music, and cultures. You’ll always have a good time in Chicago because there is always something to do.
Which brand would you really love to model for?
I would really love to model for Tom Ford. His suits are phenomenal and embodied how gentlemen should dress every day. To model his brand would mean that I am embodying these gentlemen. The quality and cut of each suit is made to compliment the structure of the individual wearing it.
Place(s) you would love to visit:
The places I would love to visit are: Paris, Australia, Milan, Tokyo, Greece, Rome, Morocco, Egypt, Thailand, Spain, Cuba, Cape Town South Africa, Jamaica, Hong-Kong, Hawaii, Turkey, Italy, Rwanda, Nepal, Brazil and Barbados
Currently, what are you obsessed with/about:
I am currently obsessed with further developing my body and the launch of my modeling career.
