Favorite things: My favorite things are the simplest. What I love most is downtime. There’s usually ALWAYS work to be done, so much work and not enough time to do it. But once everything does get finished, I’m at peace. My favorite things at this moment are my incense, candles, and soft tunes to help relax my mind, body, and soul. Plus, a little MJ 🙂 Nothing makes me happier.
What music are you listening to at the moment? There’s so much new music coming out nowadays that I haven’t been able to keep up with it all. I’m currently finishing up my music project called, “Cruise Control.” Whenever that’s not in my ears, I’m listening to either A$AP Rocky “Testing,”; Kid Cudi “Kids See Ghosts,” or that new Beyonce and Jay-Z album. Also, Partynextdoor. He’s always in the mix.
Favorite movie, tv show: Usually, I don’t watch much TV, but when I do, it’s something on Netflix. “Black Mirror” is my favorite Netflix show because the episodes are so unpredictable and they psyche me out.
Favorite designer, fragrance or grooming/beauty product: At the moment, my favorite designer is Dolce & Gabbana. Their Mens Spring/Summer 2019 line just gave me LIFE!
What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling? If I weren’t modeling, I’d still be involved in the arts. I’d actually be taking my music 100x more seriously than I do now. I can’t imagine myself doing anything other than modeling or music.
What’s something uncool that you love anyway? READING! It’s crazy because I hate reading in school, however, once I stopped attending, I found myself reading way more than I ever have. It’s fun to do in my downtime and the type of books I read help me in my everyday life.
What’s the best thing about your hometown/country? The best thing about Chicago is the food. Other places have good food too, but I’ve never been anywhere that had better food than here. Portillo’s, Harold’s, and Giordano’s are just a few spots.
Place you would love to visit: Egypt. After reading “Ancient Egypt and the Secrets of the Sun,” I can’t wait to go there. According to the book, it’s where civilization began. I think it’s quite fascinating how the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids and lived during that time.
Which brand would you love to model? I’d like to model for Balmain. I love the energy of their shoots.
Favorite modeling experience so far? My favorite modeling experience so far would be working in NYC. Since a kid, I’ve always wanted to work in NYC, so the fact that I’ve done that more than once makes me so happy.
Favorite season? My favorite season is Fall because of my birthday. Another reason is I love the weather. It’s not too hot, and it’s not too cold. I love wearing fall jackets.
Favorite junk food? I absolutely love Kit Kats. I could eat those all day and all night. I love all the flavors: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and even the orange ones that come out during Halloween.
Where do you feel the most stuck in your modeling career? Right now, my number one goal is to get signed to an agency. Until then I believe I’ll continue to feel stuck. I feel like I’m creative, versatile, and have plenty of experience. But for whatever reason, I haven’t been able to land a contract with an agency. I haven’t quite put my finger on what the problem is, but I’m currently in the process of changing my look. I feel like that would help.
Currently, you’re obsessed with or about? I’m currently obsessed with money. Even though money isn’t everything, you can’t get anything without it. I’ve worked extremely hard to save as much money as I can so I can invest in myself more.
3 Words that best describe you as a person? Loving. Ambitious. Weird.
Favorite entertainer or public personality? My favorite entertainer/public personality at the moment is Drake. I feel as if I can relate to him on so many levels.
Your favorite quote? One of my favorites quotes comes from Jay-Z. “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is what others merely think you are.”
