Name: Jaswinder Guru
Agency, if any: At the moment, I am not part of any agency, but I am looking for a sponsor and a fitness agency.
Height: 181 cm / 5’11
Where were you born? France, Cannes
Ethnicity: Indian, French, Italian
Zodiac Sign: Gemini
Favorite things: This is not a surprise! I’ve been passionate about bodybuilding for about seven years now. This sport allows me to blow off some steam, and set some new goals and improve. Sometimes, dieting seems like the hardest thing to do, and the tiredness from working out wears you out but maintaining this intense lifestyle makes every athlete feel some sense of pride. It makes us grow! Other than bodybuilding, I’ve always been passionate about aviation engineering! That’s why I made it my job!
What music are you listening to at the moment? Praise The Lord (Da Shine) – A$AP Rocky Feat. Skepta; Solo – Clean Bandit Feat. Demi Lovato; One Kiss – Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa; My Life Is Going On – Cecilia Krull & Gavin Moss; Nevermind – Dennis Lloyd; Remind Me To Forget – Kygo & Miguel; Habitué – Dosseh; X – Nicky Jam & J Balvin.
Favorite movie, tv show: Favorite movie: ‘Le Grand Bleu’ ‘300’. Favorite TV show: ‘Viking,’ ‘Last Kingdom,’ ‘Les Génie du Mal.’
Favorite designer, fragrance or grooming/beauty product: Lolita Lempicka for Men would be my fragrance of choice. I’m having a hard time finding a perfume that truly resembles me, and I’ve been using this one for a couple of years now.
What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling? To be honest, I am not yet ‘modeling,’ but I’ve discovered by one of the greatest photographers in the fitness industry Tibo Norman, which, for me, has been a great start. As I’ve previously mentioned, I work as an engineer in embedded and avionics systems, so it’s pretty much my day to day life.
What’s the best thing about your hometown/country? I was born in France, and my dad is Indian. I love France for its story, language and living conditions, which you won’t find in many countries. India, for the culture, for the sharing amongst individuals, and its breathtaking landscapes.
Place you would love to visit: One of my biggest dreams would be to travel through South America with a motorcycle. I’d also like to visit Japan and the Caribbean.
Which brand would you love to model? Calvin Klein: As a pretty big enthusiast of the brand (that’s all I wear regarding underwear, but that’s a secret). I think the brand truly values its models, both women, and men. It’s sexy without being provocative, esthetic without being too classy, and sportswear without being all based on performance.
Favorite modeling experience so far? For the time being, I can count my photoshoots one hand! But shooting with a great Fitness Photographer such as Tibo Norman has been an incredible experience. The messages of support and number of shares I’ve received after appearing in Muscle Fitness UK magazine have deeply moved me. Thanks to all my followers and supporters.

What advice would you give to someone looking to become fit or bodybuilder? In my opinion, practicing this sport requires several essential rules: First of all, I think the most important thing is regarding the mindset in which the athlete is getting into it. You can’t walk into the sport seeking financial gain. You have to stay down to earth, humble and be driven by passion. You have to be proud of outdoing yourself, proud of the progress you’ve made whatever the time it took you to get there and proud of the work accomplished.
It is also crucial to understand that dieting is an essential part of bodybuilding. Take some time to know what you’re doing and learn to recognize your metabolism. These factors are significant to be able to avoid the risks of catabolism as well as common mistakes. 80% of bodybuilding is in the diet.
Concerning training, you have to find the right balance between training too intensively (and burning too many calories) and underperforming (and not reaching your objectives).
I’d also like to insist on the fact that there’s no better teaching than the ones you get from others. Once again, this sport isn’t just about the individual, so don’t hesitate in asking for advice from people around you and help others when you see that you can help them.
Finally, you have to tell yourself that even your idol began somewhere and that the best tool for getting better is patience.
Favorite season? Without hesitation Summer!!! I rather be on a beach than skiing.
Favorite junk food? Sushi and sweet potatoes.
Where do you feel the most stuck in your modeling career? I am the quiet type. Je suis de nature, quelqu’un de réservé. Coincé est un grand mot, mais il est vrai qu’il me faut être en confiance avec mon photographe avant de me sentir vraiment à l’aise (English: I am kind, somewhat reserved. Stuck is a big word, but it’s true that I have to be confident with my photographer before feeling really comfortable.)
Currently, you’re obsessed with/about? The will to thrive and make it in the world of fitness.
3 Words that best describe you as a person? Ambitious. Quiet. Realistic.
Favorite entertainer or public personality? Sergy Constance.
Your favorite quote? “I’d rather live one day as a lion than one hundred years as a sheep.”
